After trying the original Eiger Coffee on Jalan Dago, I had high hopes for Eiger Coffee on Jalan Cihampelas. And it was everything I expected and perhaps a bit more.
The cafe is located on top of the fabulous Eiger adventure store in a narrow building with a large balcony with swinging chairs. There’s loads of wood, custom benches and hipster light fittings. Kind of what you expect from a coffee shop in Bandung these days.
The coffee is good. I had a very strong cappuccino and Susan had a Honey Bunny Sweetie. It was exactly like the one she had in Eiger Coffee Jalan Dago… that is, very enjoyable with lots of yoghurt and banana.
The tables here are good for working at and there are plenty of power points. Wifi clocks in at about 20mbps down and 4mbps up. It’s quite zippy and fast enough for most people.
With its fresh wooden interior and great coffee, Eiger Coffee Cihampelas is definitely recommended.
